Actor Alexis Corey has been working on a One-Act for the Beverly Hills Playhouse One-Act Play Festival, which has been many months of casting sessions, rehearsals and re-writes. She also will be acting in one of the plays.

Thank you to everyone that was able to make it to the Room 27 screening last night. We screened with a few other fIlms including our fellow classmate Alex Hanawalt‘s thesis film, “Fools Paradise.” We won the Audience Award for the night again.

Good news, J. Steele, Mike Hedge, and crew have finished their film “I Hate Alina” as part of the 48 Hour Film Project. We screen at the Laemmle Fairfax Theaters Wednesday June 30. 2004 9:15pm

So, screening on June 24, 2004 11am at LA Film School 6363 Sunset Blvd. Hollywood CA 90028. We are screening our other shorts “Jake’s Box,” “Love,” as well as Room 27. Bring anyone you can!!!!

We have submitted Room 27 to the AFI Film Festival, The Hollywood Film Festival, Palm Springs International Film Festival, and the Telluride Film Festival. Wish us luck.

If you got to go to the screening last night, you also got to see the short film This the Day That which Mike Hedge DP’d Directed by Justin Houchin.

Thank you to everyone that was able to make it to the Room 27 screening last night it was a complete success! The 5.1 surround sound and picture were absolutely amazing! We ended up winning the Audience Award for the night, so now we have an award-winning film!!! (finally). We are planning on screening on Thursday June 24 at 10- 12noon. I will keep you pasted on the details of this.

DP Nathan Wilson will be doing a commercial in Thailand. He also just shot a feature film called, 9/Tenths which is now in post.

We have submitted Room 27 to the Hawaii Internatlonal Film Festival. Wish us luck.

Room 27 will screen at the LA Film School‘s Friday Night Shorts event, Friday June 18, 2004 starting at 7pm with several other short films.

Mike Hedge finished filming “This is the Day That” for Director Justin Houchin. It will screen at the LAALA Film Festival on June 12, 2004.

Chelsea Alden, Stephanie Gerholdt, Gabbi McPhee, and Tieg who helped on the score for Room 27, preform in the annual Kids or Stage! For a 8etter World show titled “We Can” at Celebrity Centre.

Room 27 was screened at the Cinema Classics event in New York City. Cinema Classics is a showcase of short films from new filmmakers.

Mike Hedge got back from the NAB show in Las Vegas. Tons of new technologies, including new cameras, and new formats. Everything is HD.

J. Steele and crew finished shooting a spot for New Balance running shoes. We shot on the CBS Backlot in Hollywood and in West Hills. We shot on 35mm with Blain Brown as the DP

Mike Hedge and crew finished parts of the music video “Here I Am” directed by Tom Wazny for singer Jierra. We filmed at a huge mansion near San Diego and at Celebrity Centre.

Room 27 DP Nathan Wilson will be shooting in the Mexican cities of Oaxaca and Zihuatanejo for his next project. He just finished a music video for the Zomba UK band, “Lowfive” And he also finished shooting another film called “A Life’s Work” which takes a girl from the 1940′s through present time with each scene being from a different decade.

Room 27 was submitted to both the Cannes Film Festival and the Student Academy Awards. Everyone needs to continue to postulate the acceptances.

Sound Recordist/Mixer, Keita Nakada’s recent film “Lotta” has gone to several fllm festivals and has done well including a special mention at the Miami International Short Film Fest.

The final HD online or Room 27 was onlined today at the DR Group in Hollywood. Thanks Jon Thorn!

Taron Lexton is off directing a music video as part of the Youth for Human Rights World Educational Tour. They will he traveling to such countries as China, Taiwan. Japan, India, Thailand, Nepal, Zambia, South Afnca, Ghana. Venezuela. Guyana, and Mexico.

The Learning Academy, they will perform at Celebrity Centre International.

Mike Hedge is off to Russia to shoot a documentary. Traveling with his family through Russia, Austria, Switzerland, France, and Liechtenstein, shooting with the Sony VX2000

Room 27 was shown at Los Angeles Film School’s December Graduation for the Jan 2003 Class. Shown as one of the highlighted films of the evening, it received the greatest amount of audience excitement.

Filming is done for Room 27!! Well done to the cast and crew.
