Mike Hedge got back from the NAB show in Las Vegas. Tons of new technologies, including new cameras, and new formats. Everything is HD.
J. Steele and crew finished shooting a spot for New Balance running shoes. We shot on the CBS Backlot in Hollywood and in West Hills. We shot on 35mm with Blain Brown as the DP
Mike Hedge and crew finished parts of the music video “Here I Am” directed by Tom Wazny for singer Jierra. We filmed at a huge mansion near San Diego and at Celebrity Centre.
Room 27 DP Nathan Wilson will be shooting in the Mexican cities of Oaxaca and Zihuatanejo for his next project. He just finished a music video for the Zomba UK band, “Lowfive” And he also finished shooting another film called “A Life’s Work” which takes a girl from the 1940’s through present time with each scene being from a different decade.
Room 27 was submitted to both the Cannes Film Festival and the Student Academy Awards. Everyone needs to continue to postulate the acceptances.
Sound Recordist/Mixer, Keita Nakada’s recent film “Lotta” has gone to several fllm festivals and has done well including a special mention at the Miami International Short Film Fest.
Emily Lucas has been busy in the past few months. She starred in “Back To Life’ and several other things she was the lead in. She also did the show “Strong Medicine” on Lifetime TV. She has done 4 print campaigns, a music video, and an industrial video.

Taron Lexton is off directing a music video as part of the Youth for Human Rights World Educational Tour. They will he traveling to such countries as China, Taiwan. Japan, India, Thailand, Nepal, Zambia, South Afnca, Ghana. Venezuela. Guyana, and Mexico.
Mike Hedge is off to Russia to shoot a documentary. Traveling with his family through Russia, Austria, Switzerland, France, and Liechtenstein, shooting with the Sony VX2000
Room 27 was shown at Los Angeles Film School’s December Graduation for the Jan 2003 Class. Shown as one of the highlighted films of the evening, it received the greatest amount of audience excitement.
